Is there a way to play Wii Virtual Console games without the classic controller?

I have the Homebrew Channel on Wii System Menu 3.2U if that makes a difference. Is there a way to play Wii Virtual Console games without the classic controller?
N64 games are the ones that tend to use everything on the Wii Classic Controller. However, you do have some alternatives here.

1) Use a Gamecube controller -- A good number of N64 games done full use the N64 controls. Therefore, you can likely get by with a Gamecube controller.

2) Get a Console-to-Wii adapter -- Innex is developing an adapter for the Wii which will allow you to use your original NES / SNES / N64 controllers with the Wii.

The adapter is NOT AVAILABLE UNTIL JULY, but it's an easy way to get around this for $20... See http://kotaku.com/5263758/use-your-n64-n鈥?/a> for more information.

Retro Zone has single-console adapters (NES %26amp; SNES-to-Wii connectors) that work as well... but NO N64 adapters here (Sorry). Visit http://www.retrousb.com/index.php?cPath=鈥?/a> for more info.

This is all the choices you have for now... I hope this helps! Is there a way to play Wii Virtual Console games without the classic controller?
Depends what game.

NES/SNES Games:

Classic only

N64 Games:

Classic or Gamecube only

WiiWare:

Always Wiimote, sometimes others as well depending on game
In order to play Virtual console games either a classic controller or Gamecube controller is required, both are very cheap though, Short answer, NO.
i think 64 games most of them need the classic controller
