How do you add new wii controller?

i am playing ssbb on my wii with my brother and we got new remote.. how do you add it?How do you add new wii controller?
inside the battery case for the wii, there is a red button and on the wii somewhat near the disk slot is a think for SD cards, there is a red button there too, you press both of them at the same time and it should set it up :)How do you add new wii controller?
Go to the Wii Menu screen and press the home button. Then press the big bar at the bottom of the screen (I forget the name) and it'll turn off all of your Wii remotes. Then in order hold the 1 and 2 button until it adds your controller. It will put it in order of who pressed the 1 and 2 button first.
you press sinc on the wii and on the controller at the same time. the controller should light up on and off for about 20 seconds and then it should register.
you turn it on and then it should blink about three times and if the light on the first u are player 1 and it goes on till for .
open the SD card slot on your wii and they back of your wiimote. Hold the red button on both of them to sync it.
I did it by doing controller setting and then just added it.
