How do i get rid of the squeak in my guitar hero controller strummer without harming anything inside?

If it's new then bring it back and trade it in!How do i get rid of the squeak in my guitar hero controller strummer without harming anything inside?
if its new just use it its the strummer getting brokin in that makes the squeak once the strummer is brokin in it will move a lot faster and the squeak will go away... if its old then your guitar as trying to annoy you and the sound just goes away by itself
